Lighting technique tutorials on sportsshooter.comCouldn't post this in the tutorial forum (no access), but I reckon these video tutorials on lighting techniques at the sportshooter.com website are quite educational - good to view if you haven't seen them before. (Warning: videos are quite large)

You're welcome Tim. When I saw them, I thought they were very informative and thought others would be interested in them as well. Here's to better lighting technique !
We should mention, this isnt just helpful to those who have strobes and soft boxes.. but also those who just have a SB800.. theres some bloody helpful information how to soften the sb800 flash for portraits using a deflector and bouncing it

they are great and are just what I needed. A friend has built a studio at the back of his house and while I dont want to go that far, I am keen to experiment down this avenue... cheers D4, D700, plus glass from 14mm to 200mm
