So I finally got myself a DSLR !!!

Have been trying for a while to get a D70 (a member even called me a lurker when I tried to buy at his advertised price! - damn my low post count ) anyway ... I finally snared the prize in an ebay auction. It arrived today and I couldnt wait to take a photo of my desktop.

First one with the poxy Nikon Coolpix 2500


and then the awesome Nikon D70


Wow ... the difference is remarkable

Now I've gotta learn me some photoshop CS2 skills I think.
Sigh .... I knew it wasnt going to be easy.
I may even be able to make my desk look clean with a healthy dose of Post Processing

Anyway ... I may be asking some annoying questions till I learn a bit more.
I'm sure this is going to be the most reading I've done since Uni.

oh ... and until my post count gets up to 50 so I can post in the For Sale section, I'll just let you know that once I have permission to, I'll be asking whether anyone has a Speedlight SB-800 , or an AF-S 70-200 f2.8G VR lens for sale in sydney. Looking to pay $450 and $1950 respectively.

2. Nikon lens cap on the desk in the second shot

If you put your D70 down on your desk there is a fair chance you'll never find it again.
