D70 Deathbed (well..knocking at the door anyway!)Ok, I seriously think my D70 is on it's last legs. The viewfinder issue is worsening, my manual focus issues have turned into auto-back-focus and my cam is randomly corrupting images on multiple memory cards!! Yay!
I think it's only a matter of time before it kicks the bucket.. And yes, if you all think I'm crying out for sympathy, you're right! I am! A worried Liam
doesnt sound good Liam.. my cam seems to be corrupting memory cards.. but only transcend... no idea why tho..
hope things work out for you Tim D70 - D200/MBD200 Coming soon - Too Much Gear, Not Enough Talent

Digitor, i also think it has something to do with the mirror but I took it all apart the other night and it seems to be sitting where it should be. I also popped the matte screen out to see if maybe the pentaprism had moved or was loose - no luck there either. Was very tempted to wedge something under the mirror to see if that would fix it but all the solutions I came up with would have ended in shutter breakage of one kind or another!!
RE the D200, I'm yearning! Have one on order!
Liam sorry to hear the bad news
perhaps it's time to ask your studio mentors to lend you their Mamiya if it makes you feel any better my d2x is on it's last legs, but it's lived well
oddly my D70 is performing better now with autofocus than when I first bought it... that I cannot figure out.
image corruption and regular [ERR] messages using my Transend cards is bugging me no end. Way past D200 time here too. Wendell, how in the HELL did you break a D2X? Mark Greenmantle
