A couple of nice photogenic events in the nations capital!

Jazz in the park: Saturdays and Sundays from 6pm. Eucalypt lawns in the Botanical gardens..

One of the best things about this event is that instead of booting you from the gardens at 6pm you can get some nice sunset light shots from the gardens on the way out (approx 8pm)

Austalia eve concert: Quite a few bands are playing on the parliment house lawns on the evening of the 25th of Jan... Dont know how welcome D70's will be but a few good pics of various performers (scared little wierd guys, Desiel...) might be snapped with a long lens

And Garema place seems to be buzzing with activism here and a street show there...

there is also an australia day concert in glebe park featuring some of canberras best young acts... i do beleive the 104.7 band me the conquer will be there and i know los capitanes will...
