Accessory page from Nikon ...

Note such items as the MB-D80 grip, and the wireless transmitter WT-3 is now also designated as fitting the D80. That's indicating a feature set that's a step above the D70.

Bob, the three things that are obviously D80 are the two I've mentioned above, and the CF-D80, which is the neverready case.
