Lol awesome stuff Can't do that with an apple mouse (one button)
Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
Shame too. It'd have put those damned hockey puck mice to good use. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Keith,
You can use the PTT handset & GPS tracking device on your truck to work with your D200 Birddog114

Aussie ingenuity at its best. Macgeyver (sp?) may have been able to construct a working thermo-nuclear device out of a paddle pop stick and a bit of string, but could he have done this? I think not. Well done Keith.

handy.
will be interested in what you used for the connector which connects to the camera. If you can id the pinouts on the camera it will come in handy if I wanted to construct a remote with something other than a mouse. will stay tuned. Steve check out my image gallery @

Steve, I have an old keyboard if you want it
thanks glen, but no thanks.
have plenty of them laying around here. The pinout info and what he used to make the connections would be handy. I made a contraption to fire my f3 out of a bunch of junk ages ago. a remote for the d2x would come in handy. Steve check out my image gallery @

Hey, this got me thinking that if you can convert a mouse to a remote for your camera you must be able to convert your camera remote to be a mouse for a computer.
So I pulled out the old D2X remote, stuck the plug on the end in the vice and tightened it until it was flat (like a USB plug). Stuck it in the USB port on the back of the MAC and HEY PRESTO.........fortunately I have a MAC as the remote is a one button remote.....can't right click!!
