Re: A place to rent camera equipemt in Sydney?Try L&P Photographics in Artarmon. Provided good service to me last time I rented from them many moons ago. http://www.lapfoto.com.au/
Thank you everyone, as none these companies came up on google search.
I decided to go with Borge -> Speak to Matt Lonergan the Sydney Branch Manager. he looked for it all week and came through for me. D200 $198 for friday 1pm to Monday noon hire. For the investment the D200 or D2x is costing me I think its prudent to compare it directly over a full weekend. It might have been cheaper to play with it for an hour at a mini meet but the extra days seemed well worth it for me. Especially as the D100 is all the camera I need. So over this weekend I have both a D200 and a D2x (friends one that I had for a week now to play with) so I can compare directly and then its off to the bargain section later in the month. I have also bought some prime AIS lenses to just for the heck of it. In pretty good nick for $140 for a 20mm AIS and a 50mm AIS for $50 little worse for wear but the aperture and glass are fine. A big jump from my D100.................only problem now I did to get rid of my SB-DX and buy a SB800 and all the accessories that don't match bugger! I'm back

Matt is a nice guy at Borge's. Great idea to compare directly, hope you have a fantastic weekend of play. Use a tripod for some of your comparitive shots, takes the operator out of the equation.
Great price on the AIS lenses and good lens to boot
