Hello, Good Eveneing and Goodnight

Postby 7zark7 on Mon Aug 28, 2006 11:25 pm

just thought i'd leave a message,

I have just bought a Nikon D70. previously i have been using a Pentax Optio S8 or something which i found took a beautiful photo for snaps, it really captured and excentuated color in the pictures it took.

anyway moving on, i am looking forward to learning how to take a picture without automatic settings :)

so i look forward to getting some feedback and instruction regarding my new hobby and this looks like a good community to help.

7.

Welcome! Here you'll find a wealth of info and some great people willing to let you learn from them :)

On your camera, you have many different options - try each of them, many times. Your photo's store EXIF data - even Windows can read this! It shows you some really useful info for each shot you take - things like shutter speed and aperture value. Take note of these when reviewing your images - the ones you think have worked, and the ones that haven't.

Learn from your own experience, and learn from ours - we will all be better for it :)
