I hope to post photos of my recently preferred seating method..if the remnants havent been taken away by the OHSW/CSI boffins already
to cut a long story short..I have just returned from hospital with 11 stitches inserted in left hand after my swiss ball exploded upon sitting down at work today...using a filing cabinet drawer to break my fall didn't help.
anyway luckily no nerve damage so in the coming weeks I should be able to look at holding a D200 if the taxman (or my lawyers) come good!!
what a shame..it had been such a great week.. BTW Fozzie..we have finally found a new house..move in in2 weeks

Rookie, how hard did you sit down on it? How much was it inflated? This is worrying, hope you are ok..

I was returning from lunch _ I didnt think a vege toasted wrap was that heavy..
...it was as inflated as it had been for the previous 3 months I've used it...
must be something to do with our 26C weather???
as long as no infection or nerve damage all should be OK though..... my cocyx(?) is bloody tender!
bit like when you put your foot down and there is no step there!
time for some forte!

Sorry to hear about your accident and I hope you have a swift recovery.
Are you going back to sitting on a Swiss ball?
After having some minor back trouble a while back I investigating having one myself, but I noticed that government departments and universities don't allow their use on OHS grounds. This could be why.

I was trying to work out what Swiss Balls were for a while - thought they may have had Sony batteries in them
It's a good warning - stay away from exercise equipment

Yikes! Bizarre but painful incident Rookie. Hope everything comes good and you don't have any long term effects.
Gives a new meaning to 'put your head between your knees and kiss your ball goodbye'...

I take it the remains of the Swiss ball now hold pride of place in your pool room, Rookie?
It's all about the vibe...

Ouch
Glad to hear no permanent damage.
I always thought they looked a bit dangerous. But I thought it would due to rolling off the ball, not because of the ball detonating.
