How to preserve Italian-Australian relations

Postby Reschsmooth on Tue Sep 12, 2006 11:54 am

I think a few people are aware of some Nikon gear on ebay from one of the forum members here, including a lens. An ebayer asked how much to ship to Italy. The response cracked me up  :

Q: Hay. How much does SHIPPING cost to ItALY. ROME

A: Well since I’m still recovering from Italy knocking Australia out of the world cup, I will only ship to Italy if you admit and apologise in writing for Grosso’s dive in the penalty box to draw a foul.

I also like Andrew's reply to someone who wanted a D200 shipped to Spain. :
Q: Hello, Would you sell it to a Spanish ebayer? And if yes, how much would cost to ship it to Spain? Has the camera any warranty? May I ask you for more pictures of the camera ? What is your return policy? Would you accept Paypal? Thank you. Christina.

A: No you won't have a warranty in Spain. Only in Australia. I think you'll find it better if you move to Australia, buy my as-new D200 and enjoy a great life with a camera with a warranty.

I'd be one of the forum members but I'm not the one.
Do you buy overseas HK,UK, US etc....... so they do.

Anyway,
Kuwait-Australia 2-0

Who.....? Kuwait who is that? :?

C'mon be realistic, do you think Australia might be the winner of the World Cup? I don't think so.
As Italy might be the winner of the Rugby World Cup, I don't think so.
I'm with Australia all time but to be sincere Socceroos are not ready to be there yet, I whish it, but it's not.

Penalties and act/play, I meaning like an actor, is a part/rule of soccer game, that's one of the reason why I hate soccer.

Take it easy

You guys know what it’s like. You get heaps and heaps of questions. Mostly I just shoot off a quick reply, short and to the point. But sometimes, esp late at night or early in the morning, I try to have a bit of fun with them.

You should see some of the questions. One guy wants me to ship the D200 to Nigeria, yet his account is in Malaysia.

But on the Italy thing. DID YOU SEE THE GAME!!!! Please tell me you’re not thinking the same thing! Oh the scars are deep, very deep….. ;)

I like to think of it as, Dr Phil meets eBay. An opportunity to get some good products plus a little life advice. lol

Yeah mate, sometimes people asking bizarre things.... and you have to, have fun is the rule!
Me too.

Do you have the 35-70 on sale? How old is that, means not just the year but shoots/use. Is it in real great conditions? I'd bid for it. I'm in Australia and I'm Australian and for Australia, Socceroos as well!

Yes I did, unfortunately mate saw the game.... :( :( but we got (as australians) other 4 years to be ready. And next time we'll be there.
The Asian cup will be a good test and challenging for us, such as how to be smart and learn trics.

But told you I don't like Soccer and Ferrari, I love Rugby and Bikes.

I actually tried the FIFA World Cup game on my DS for the first time a few days ago.
I wasn't trying to emulate the actual game, but just for fun I played as Australia against Italy.
Now I am absolutely awful with soccer games, but I managed to keep the game at 0-0 all up until the last few seconds where Italy scored a bloody goal.

Coincidence? Perhaps if someone had just played the DS game before the match, they would have seen what was coming...

Did you 'trip' the Italian player in the penalty box?
