Telephoto Wide Angle Macro LensHi All
While searching eBay I found this, Telephoto Wide Angle Macro Lens for Fuji S9000 S9500. it is, 2.5x High Definition Telephoto + 0.45x High Definition Wide Angle + Macro Lens. I was wondering if anyone could recommend this type of attachment or advise against it. thanks Andrew HERE Fuji Finepix s9500>>>D70s 18-70 lens
ive not used any myself, but my father inlaw bought some for his canon g6, the canon brand ones but.
he was pretty happy with them. hardly used them but was happy with the results.
I bought some when I was young and niave, actually the day after I bought my camera.. while they achieved some cool effects being used in ways they didn't intend, the intended use was very lack lustre to say the least.
May I ask why you will need lens attachment like these if you have a DSLR capable of mounting a real 300mm lens?
All I've seen is that some of them degrades image quality and creates strong distortion around edges. Its the last resort you will ever take from no choice.
The OP was enquiring about these for a fuji s9500 i think. I didnt think that these could change their lenses, thought they had a fixed lense.
Andrew,
I bought and still own a Fuji S7000. A few years ago I was in Singapore and convinced a retailer to put and "extension" lens onto it to trial. Went back to the hotel to see the results on the laptop. Mediocre at best were the results..... I'm glad that I was able to convince him to let me trial it for a few shots before commiting to buy. I'd suggest saving your cash and put it towards a DSLR, the results from the 2 camera styles really are chalk and cheese. On a less negative note, I keep the Fuji to take to places where I don't really need the DSLR quality (which isn't often) and am looking more for snap shots.... if you can imagine the fuji with its long shutter lag capable of taking snap shots... All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
