Woo hoo toys arrived"Happiness is posting news of new toys"
Tokina 12-24, MC-Eu1 remote cord (more buttons than the camera) and a 52mm reversing ring. Wide angle down to macro, what a delivery! Now looking forward to a decent tripod and ballhead from Poon! J D3 | 18-200VR | 50:1.4 | 28:2.8 | 35-70 2.8 | 12-24 f4

I thought you were buying the Sigma 12-24, how come you opted for the Tokina now?
Now go out and enjoy the new lens, and your reversing ring. That the best piece of metal I always loved in my cam bag...
Justin. New Toys = Justin
Go enjoy then show us the fruits of your labour. Peter

Re: Woo hoo toys arrived
I'm interested to know about this reversing ring! I've done macro before by holding my 50mm lens reversed over the mount. So, this ring - one side mounts to the camera and the other side attaches to the filter thread? Where can I get one?
Great stuff Justin!
I ordered the Benro C297 and KB-3 ballhead last night. I had a personalised (not just an email sender automated thing) from Poon himself saying that the item will be shipped today. Oh, this was at about 11:15PM Sydney time too Can't better than that. Last edited by Geoff on Wed Sep 13, 2006 8:53 pm, edited 1 time in total.

All I can say that reversal ring is fun, very fun...
It can replace several macro setup at a little expense of metering and focus
