Hello christiand.
Yes I have the TH D200 ebook.

It is a very thorough document which builds on Thom's previous work with other Nikon Digital SLRs - indeed I suspect there is alot of duplication in this volume, as I also purchased read, and re-read his D70 ebook.

I would note also that he has excellent in depth knowledge that is often overwhelming in both volume and detail, but perhaps this is the result of trying to write a document that has value to both the newcomer and the more experienced DSLR users.

While at times I find his in depth appreciation somewhat overbearing I have found the ebook to be very useful as both a reference tool, and for the development of a more thorough appreciation of the Digital process in general.

The D200 is a very capable and complex 3rd generation digital photographic tool, that is quite definately not made for somebody unfamilair with SLR photography - while capable of wonderful pictures, it is a beast that does require a degree of user appreciation, and Thom's ebook is a great place to start the quest.

Good luck.
D300, D200, (D70 - now with daughter) and heaps of Nikon stuff.
