That's a lovely photo - very sharp
A lot of people bag the Sigma 70-300 APO. I don't have the Canon version, only the Nikon. Considering the price of the lens, in my opinion, it is exceptionally good value.

Anything can look sharp when you resample it from 8MP down to 350x350

I disagree completely Petal

If a photo is out of focus, or has insufficient depth of field, no amount of resampling will fix it

It is a darn good photo

The lizard picture is very much as it was taken by the camera. It was taken in raw format, I sharpened one or two notches, and I reduced it size to 500 pixels keeping 350 dpi. To keep the shooting information intact and reduce file size, I used Digital Photo Professional, the software that came with the camera.
