That First Photo

So Simple.
search for DSC_0001 at Google, Flickr, SmugMug, Pbase and voila you have someones very first photo with that camera.

Flickr

ofcourse DSC is the Nikon file naming format (at least for my D70s)

Hi Laurie,

I think my camera resets the files names to _0001 each time I reformat (or delete all from card).

Yep depends whether File No Seq is turned on. Is is off by default, on D70 anyway.

The filename is not DSC_0001, but this is the VERY FIRST opening ceremony of my D70... hurray! 8)

My first time was in the carpark of the shopping centre ;)

I don't have any record of it anymore - I guess it wasn't really all that 'special' afterall ;)

My first with my first DSLR (D70) was of my living room in North Ryde, but i've since deleted the image and moved 150klms away :)

alot of ppl have the d70, i have the d40
its my first dslr camera
but now to think of it
i should have gotten the d70
