Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Latrobe Uni Lake early in the morning

Postby meicw on Sun Jan 23, 2005 7:24 pm

I have just posted some pics I took early this morning at the lake that feeds the moat and provides the water for the Latrobe Uni sports grounds. They are in the Latrobe Uni Lake gallery on PixSpot.
You can see the difference in the hand held telephoto shots taken with my Tamron lens compared to those taken with the VR lens.
And sorry, there are some more duck pics. :(
There are all as taken except for some cropping and resizing for the gallery.

Regards

G'day,
Haven't gone through the gallery yet, but the example shot you've posted is very good... Nice reflections, sharp and good exposure...

I went around to the local park today, playing with the 80-400VR watching some young guys playing cricket, there were a few ducks there too!

Cheers,
Mudder

Thanks for the replies guys. Still marvelling at the speed of the D70 (even with the Tamron fitted) compared to the Olympus C8080.
