The Christmas issue

Postby Nnnnsic on Thu Oct 12, 2006 4:22 pm

It's probably the Chanukaristmas issue... regardless... if you're planning to write or submit an article, review, or photo-essay for the next issue, send me a PM now.

Already, I know that Matt K., Stubbsy, and Sheepie are in for articles. Anyone else as I'm going to start working on this very soon?

Hi guys, I'm interested in writing an article!
Perhaps if my d80 arrives in time, I could write an article about the lead-up, my lens lust, the dreaded waiting period, and how the camera handles. Submit a few photos to go with the article and voila!
How does that sound?
If not, I could do a story on our upcoming trip to NZ and how the camera handled it. Only prob is I won't have a chance to write either article till the end of Nov when we return from NZ.
What is the deadline?
Cheers, Maya

Yup, either / or will be fine. Both even. One for this issue, one for the next, depending on how the features spread out over the course of the issue.

That said, for people who are submitting, if they can let me know that they are definetly submitting an article by November 15, (and what the title is) that'd be brilliant.

Will you accept reviews written from the past months?

I received my new camera on Friday (joy oh joy!), and in my spare time (when I forced myself to drag my eye away from the view-finder), I penned three-quarts of the first article. Will finish it this weekend and email it through.
I'll also post a few photos when have a spare minute to work out whats needed for posting pics on the Q&A section 8)
