Wanted - photographer for an evening

Postby r2160 on Thu Oct 19, 2006 10:31 pm

Hi all

A friend of mine is holding an evening to launch a christmas lights competition in Sydney. He is hoping to get a photographer to wander around and take pics of the evening, more than likelyto be published in local papers etc.

Anybody interested?

thanks
Glenn

Depending on the date etc I'd be more than willing to help out. We could make it a 'mini-meet' of sorts!? What area in Sydney?

Glenn,

Further to Geoff's question, could you please update your profile so that it more concisely displays your loacation?

Thanx.

And the idea of a minimeet might be good.

Gosh..you've got me singing Christmas carols. Lucky this isn't an interactive site with sound - I'd be cut off for sure.
Bonnet Bay in the south has always been known as a good spot for it's Christmas light displays.
Cheers, Mick :) :)

Unless he is willing to pay my expenses (flights and accommodation) I'm afraid I am out :D

Sounds like a fun job though (more interesting that office portraits I have been doing lately)

Hi All

The night is the launch of the Blacktown City Council Christmas Lights competition. My friend owns the Ho Ho Merry Christmas Shop and he is the major sponsor of the lights competition. The address is 26 Powers Road, Seven Hills. The time will be 7-9 pm on the 11th November.

I would like to keep the numbers down to around 4. I hope that this is OK. There will be a santa parachuting in, lots of things for the kids to do, clowns, face painting etc. There will be LIVE reindeer with santa on a sleigh. So even if you arent taking piccies, bring the family anyway. The SES will also be putting on a barbeque.

If you want to come, feel free. If you want to take pics, please leave your name here and I guess the first 4 in, best dressed.

If this post is not appropriate, I apologise and am happy to alter anything you ask of me.

Hope to see you all there.

thanks
Glenn
