Daylight Saving

Postby Greg B on Thu Nov 02, 2006 10:31 am

For those folks in the non-regressive states, you will need to adjust your forum time manually for daylight saving.

You set your time zone in your Profile.

Currently

NSW VIC TAS GMT + 11
QLD GMT + 10
SA GMT + 10.5
NT GMT + 9.5
WA GMT + 7 (until start December, then GMT + 8 )

Good luck

OMG Steve - you are really showing your age. I just checked and found http://www.hutt-river-province.com so it seems Prince Leonard is still alive!

It's great to live in Queensland!

That's two sets of household chores I don't have to do - changing all the clocks, watches, stoves, telephones, VCRs etc to DST and then changing them all back again.

My curtains last longer too!

It means that if you're running Windows on your PC you'll have to make the system time jump, wreaking all sorts of unexpected havoc. This, of course, is a problem that had been solved over 30 years ago on every other computing platform...

Cheers

I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"

Now that we're out of daylight savings time, remember to reset the timezone in your profiles!
