Sigma 10-20mm EX DG HSMr the reviews about this lens correct in saying the quality is a hit and miss affair.
I don't want to get one from hk and find its soft, at least here is aust i can try before i buy. Simon
www.colberne.com.au I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"
Sigma may be well known for a little bit in sample variations, sometimes you may get a stellar copy and sometimes you get an average one. But even Nikon has this problem, nothing is created in perfect standard.
But from what I know, many here (including myself) has the Sigma 10-20 and they are very happy about its performance vs price ratio.
I'm quite happy with my 10-20
No problems with sharpness or anything on the d70 New page

I got one for my wife to use on Nikon D70s and results have been excellent. Not even any vignetting which was sort of expected at 10mm. Is sharp!
hmm 22inch widescreen or 10mm wideangle.

I got the 10-20mm, was worried about the "QA problems", mines fine....not sure what all the fuss is about... You know for the price of a 22" wide screen you could almost buy 2 19inch screens.... Dual screen goodness
