Nikon D200 price dropFor your interest, yesterday I was in a photgraphic store in Adelaide and one of the salesman came out of the back room and informed the owner - who I was talking to, that Nikon Australia had just dropped the wholesale price by 400 dollars..so you should now be able to get even better deals.

www.colberne.com.au I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"
Keep it for a second body - better value than selling it for peanuts. TFF (Trevor)

This was already mentioned earlier in the week. Please refer to this thread.
What we're seeing is a pricing adjustment that removes some of the excessive margin that Maxwell had imposed upon us for the dubious privilege of having to <strike>put up</strike> deal with them. Poon's prices remain better - D200 is $1910 as against RRP $2499 - but we have yet to see what actual street prices will be. And we haven't yet seen lens prices, nor any statements on warranty policies. g.

As I am interested in D200 prices, I called ECS since they had the D200 for $2145 inc GST on their website. They confirmed the price and that they have some in stock. Get them while they are hot

i guess the maxwells execs wont get to upgrade their beamers and yachts this year. They may even have to sell that 3rd mcmansion to pay the butlers on the other 2.

Excellent stuff, almost not worth importing from HK at that price if the warranty situation remains the same.
Wow. ECS actually have stock. Can you pick it up today or next week?

Didn't actually hold one in my hands but he did tell me that I could come today and get one But maybe he saw that I was calling from Newcastle and that I was unlikely to make it there before closing Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.
