Hi guys,

Oz, can you please let me know where abouts in Melbourne this will be? I know it's Melbourne Inner City, near beach, but that's a big area
I need to make a flight booking (and accomodation booking maybe dependant on flight time from/to Hobart).

Cheers
John

Hi John,

From what I know about it the event is going to be in Brighton in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs.

My advice to you would be to stay somewhere in the CBD and then take the train out on the Sunday. This way you might get to have a good Saturday night looking about the city, get a good nights sleep and then on Sunday morning buy the $2.50 all day ticket for the train that will get you from the city (from any of the loop stations except FlagStaff) out to Brighton on the Sandringham line (a 20 minute journey). One of us can pick you up from the train station. Contact us nearer the time to confirm the train station to get off at.

Getting to and from the airport is rather easy if you are in the city... just grab the Sky Bus ($14 each way).

Hope this is a help

I am hoping for a few drop outs as well. I have a new 70-200mm and want to try it out. So far it has only been pointed at my angry girlfriend, so I am hoping for a more friendly model. It is damn hard to practice when you are focussing on the back of her head as she runs away again (I am guessing AF-C is the correct setting here).

Themselves, perhaps 2-3 outfits (but not essential).

Something for their lunch (BYO BBQ meat/salad, or similar).

Thanks for this, it will work out well.

I have a friend coming from about 1030 to 3pm, and another in after lunch, so your daughter and her friend will be a big help.

thats about it.
