Calendars for XmasHey Everyone,
Katie and I have decided to supplement out Xmas gift giving with a Calendar of some of the shots we've taken over the year (or so). I'd previously planned on doing it all myself, photos, design, taking it to the printers and then binding it myself, but I've left it too late. We've been looking at a few different sites online that basically let you build and print them from digital shots you upload, has anyone had any experience with these (other then Frank with Lulu?) if so can anyone recommend one ? Cheers, Craig (and Katie)
Craig,
I'm fairly sure you're not a flickr user, but you could create a free flickr account for the purposes of this... Qoop in the US do a pretty good job printing calendars and other one-off print runs fairly cheaply. Qoop uses the Flickr API (or photobucket) to access your Flickr Account and sources the photos from there (+ allows you to select which images etc). I've seen a calendar printed via Qoop/Flickr and they're pretty damn good. I'm thinking of getting some printed as Xmas presents with these guys too. The pricing is: Description Dimensions Price ($US) Standard 8.5"x11" $14.99 Poster-Sized 13.5"x19" $24.99 I'm unsure about the delivery cost to Aus, other than the FAQ reckons they use DHL Worldwide Express for international orders (and they should turn up in 3-10 business days).
