7 Or Maybe 15 @ differentimages.

Postby mic on Sat Nov 25, 2006 7:59 am

I would like to invite whoever wants to participate :

I am going to have 7 Images from the Forum here displayed on my Website http://www.differentimages.com.au

I am inviting you to post them to me in the size of 800 x 534 Landscape or Portrait 450 x 600.

I will pick which one's I want to be displayed over the next few weeks when I have time.

This is a way I feel I can share the Talent in this Forum and a little gift back to it for all it has taught me over the years.

If I get a lot of images I won't be able to display them all
OR
If I do get alot I might do 15 Images ?

Thanks to those who will participate and please don't be offended if I don't display your image.

Cheers,

Mic

I know what image size you're after, Mic, but a TIFF 800x534 has a much bigger FILE size than a JPEG of the same dimensions. In the case of one photo I'm looking at it's 1.24mb as opposed to 272kb - both at 800x534px. I thought you'd be concerned about the actual file size but you didn't stipulate TIFF or JPEG.

You also didn't say how you wanted them submitted..

I really thought there would be a lot more of you wanting to display your proud images on a Website for FREE and to have somebody offer to do so. Not so by the looks of things ??

I have only had 3 people E-mail me their work which is great, but I am not going to chase people for their work, if you want to display it, you make the effort.

If not I'll close this offer soon.

Come on you Slack Arses !

Eight submitted and three being displayed? That's a pretty good batting average. Maybe I should have sent more but I thought even three was a bit much to submit.

Well Simon,

I thought 1 would have been enough per person as well, but seeing there hasn't been very much interest in which I can't work out why, I'll take 3 from anyone.

Slider's were exceptional though, still can't get over the quality of them
