D200 battery cover

Postby christiand on Mon Dec 04, 2006 8:51 pm

Hi all,

I damaged my D200 battery cover when I removed it
to fit the vertical grip.
It is still working - just on ONE hinge.
Does anybody know where to get replacement and how much it is going to cost ?

Many thanks,
CD

I don't know CD but it does say something about quality and design of this component which is a moderate use item. I change to the vertical grip with an exaggerated care nowadays.

im not familiar with the battery door design of the D200, but i guess if its missing one part of the hinge, then the battery could fall out because its the door that holds the battery up to the contacts inside the chamber?
