I am not a huge fan of religious imagery, no doubt my enthusiastic atheism
is a contributing factor there, but good is good and this shot from DanielA
is a beauty. I suspect our OMOTY would approve of the composition - neat
and in the middle. The figure looks a bit contrived, but it is so perfect I don't
care.
This is a great shot, well spotted and realised, with a sensational backdrop
and a church which begs to be photographed.
I like it a lot. Well done Daniel.
Daniel's trip to NZ was very fruitful, I was also highly impressed with the lake shot
(number two in the thread)
Thread is here
with a link to lots more of Daniel's shots from the trip.

Greg, I am not surprised by your selection of Daniel's photo as POTW.
I was very impressed by Daniel's photos yesterday and it is not often to see these kind of nice photos anywhere.
Congratuation Daniel.
Cheers

I figured Daniel might be up for POTW this week, but I just wasn't sure which shot it would be. Cracker shot, and well done.

Thank you Greg and everyone.
When the photo was taken, I have to admit, some chimping was done...
Thank you all again.

WOAH!
That looks more like somewhere in central Europe.
Great shot, nice colours and composition. Should be printed big and framed I think.
Well done!
