so I went to a golf game...manged to get a couple of ok shots from yeterday golf game.
I founded out the hard way but it pays to know how each player shoots. Golf is a hard subject to make interesting but you are certainly pressing the button at the right time. You had the light working against you and fill flash is probably a no-no for the golfers. If I have to take golfing pics I pray for a cloudy day!

thanks, most of the good players had their "good side" shadowed by the sun. to be honest i think the strong winds, harsh sunlight and the 767s landing in the landing strip across the rd were more of a bother than my fill-flash.
