Picture Of The Week - December 12, 2006

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Yes, yes... I'm late. I get it. It's just so hard deciding on an image.

There's 225 pages of images in our Image Reviews area!

And this is one image that I'm proud to say is this week's Picture Of The Week:

Image

Norbs gets the pleasure this week with this stunning and very photo-journalistic view of a slice of life from Vietnam.

Great work, Norbs!

That is an amazing image showing a lifestyle so different than the one we're accustomed to seeing.

Great choice.

Pigs on bikes. It's like being at work

Good choice, not the usual, but like has been said, it gives us an insight into the lifes of others.

Nice. Great colours and contrasts also.
