Yeh...who'd want to be a chef..or a nurse..or a dairy farmer..or a cop..or an ambo..or a sales assistant...over the holiday period

I think that leaves lawyers, politicians, teachers and public servants who get to enjoy the break... :P :P :P :P

What about us students? :D We get holidays left, right, center AND top this time of year. :D

And I am also a public servant at the moment - best of both worlds!

how well does that 70-200VR balance on the D50? or did you forget that as a need to "upgrade"?

and us dumb plant workers... I'm here Xmas also.

You won't be sorry. I just bought my D80, I couldn't justify the extra $500 for the D200, and after I got my color right (WAYYYY more adjustments than the D70 I have) I am more than happy with it. And my wife is happy too, she gets her camera back.

Swanem,

Plant workers are not dumb. Especially in your part of the word.

Welcome. Please take a few moments to tell us about yourself, and your special place in the world, just up the road from one of my favourite cities in the world.
