Blue Mountains (gallery)I just posted a new gallery on pbase and would really appreciate some honest comments.
Cheers Gerard http://www.pbase.com/glalamy/blue_mountains
G'day,
Was just about to scarper, but had a real quick sticky nose through your gallery... The Blue Mountains are a majestic place aren't they? VERY nicely composed, the only thing that I'd try is to extract some more contrast to make 'em "pop", out of curiosity were you using a CPL? Cheers, Mudder Aka Andrew
Yes the Blue Mountains has something about it.
This site belongs to one of my weather mates; he still uses film & has some awesome work. http://www.bluemtsphoto.com Cheers Ray >> All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism<<
Thank you all for the input.
I did not use a CPL (some shot were done with the 12-24 Sigma). The underexposure is a problem... The picture look OK on my monitor, but always find them dark in various degrees on other monitors. Tried to adjust mine (LCD) but then it's hard to read text... I also would agree about the contrast, but, as they are, they are close to reality. Cheers, Gerard
