At the risk of being a party pooper I'd like to remind you all to be mindful of mj's dignity and don't say something which might embarass or ridicule him (sorry I've just been reading the very long, but useful pdf on photographing people & their rights linked to by gleff in this thread)
Remember, words said with love & affection can still hurt. Peter

Stubbsy, your caring sensitivity is a stark reminder of the importance of balancing the desire to have a fleeting moment of glory with a humorous remark, with the consideration of the feelings of our fellow d70 owner. Thank you. And can I also say that it goes very well with your new frock. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Yes indeed let's be mindful of my dignity... the very least you could all do is chip in and present me with my very own VR at the next mini-meet In all honesty though, I gave away whatever dignity I had to my wife and kids years ago... otherwise I'd have a nice collection of lenses for myself by now !!! Michael.
MJ, Well said! but if you change your mind now do you still have a chance? and be happy or you won't have the lenses but still be happy Birddog114
