Who's got plans to be out and about and if so are you bring your camera ?

I photographed both sets of Fireworks from my office last year, but I'm thinking I'd prefer a different angle this year, I just missed out on getting a ticket to Garden Island.. so I'm considering my options.

So anyone in Sydney planning on taking photos, anyone interested in teaming up (I'd personally feel a bit safer with someone else against the hordes of drunken partiers).

Craig, if I've got nothing else, which at this point is becoming a possible likely situation, I can go.

Am still determining our intentions. There's a spot I went a couple of years ago that may be worth considering - will post let you guys know privately where once I talk to Manda, can then decide whether it's a goer before seeing if anyone else wants to join :)

Thanks for the response guys...

I had one spot in mind, but I think it could be a) popular, b) difficult to defend and c) possibliy dangerous enough for the police to move me along. That said the view would be fan-friggin-tastic.

I too wish to stay sober and would be welcome to any strategic places that may keep me away from the drunken masses.
