PotW January 2 2007The honour of choosing the first Picture Of The Week for 2007 falls to me, and as always, it's a bloody difficult choice, made moreso by the fact that I have two weeks' worth of images from which to make my selection.
And there have been some really great images over the last couple of weeks too, but this image of stetner's simply grabbed me because it was an image of something that is so often photographed, but rarely in this manner. This guy looks so indignant, too, as if he's saying "how dare you take my photo when I'm so disshevelled!" So, congratulations to Stetner on this very different image, and welcome, everyone, to this year's selections for our PotW. The original thread is here. Congratulations Doug - a very well-deserved accolade. As Gary says, it's a commonly shot subject but this version is really different. (As is the following one in that series - YUCK!)
