Didn't know where this post should be long, so I shoved it in General, but I'd just like to acknowledge Scott (MHD) and his image that I've always been a fan of which is this one Through the Lens.

I attempted on Holiday to recreate similar condition and found it much more challenging then I expected and in the end didn't come away with a shot I was happy with, that said I've learnt a few things that might help if I attempt it again.

Anyways, love Scott shot, and in homage here is my failed attempt to mimic his work (I hope you don't mind scott).

Top tips, the bright colours and lots of light really help, also have a very cute model doesn't hurt.

Great for a start Craig, now you need to find a brighter light source and more popping colours in the background :P
