Looks like it has everything from the D200 except the burst rate.

I'm surprised that Fuji is even using Nikon's signature commander TTL mode flash on the S5. And even allowing the use of MB-D200 grip on the S5, so meaning EN-EL3e batteries can be used on the S5 as well.

Now, will this machine be overpriced far beyond (or same as) a D2X?

You cannot use the Nikon batteries in the S5, Fuji has put a chip in the batteries.

You cannot use the Nikon batteries in the S5, Fuji has put a chip in the batteries.

$1900USD sounds like initial launch price of the D200. Where's Poon for this one?

I am really looking forward to getting my hands on one of these babies. Now to read the manual.

I'm not worried about burst/frame rates, i have a D2H for that, if i ever need it.

Now i just need to see some RAW examples to play with.
