Congrats Birddog - it always amazes me that you have a business to run, a family, the D70 bargains, see friends, hold meets etc etc and yet you still have time to help a lot of people on this forum - 4k next

That's very different from my spelling error I just corrected... "A plague made out of paper from all of the posts"...

Wow birddog Congrats on the milestone.

I've said it before, but it needs saying again. You're a gentleman and one of the most giving people I have ever had the good fortune to meet. While we're noting the quantity milestone here, the real measure of your contribution - both through your postings and your other activities - is that you make this an immensely better place to be.

Thanks
Peter

What I like about Birdog is the joy that he seems to find in helping people. That is a rare quality, and makes this site as successful as it is. Thanks

I've been a member of this forum right from the start, I can still remember Gary laying down the law, saying that he wanted this forum to have contributions from everyone not just one person all the time.
It was evident then that Birddog was contributing a lot more then his share, but because just about every post had a usefull link or was helping someone with a querie, it was hard to think of him as hogging the forum.
3000 posts later and I've come to realise that if birddog stopped posting this place wouldn't be the same.
Thanks Birddog
