Phillip Island coastline?

Postby markjd on Mon Jan 29, 2007 11:51 am

I went down there recently to check out the sites. Loved the volcanic coastline near Seal Rocks. I took a few photos of the coastline on my phone LOL Not the best quality, but such memories :)

I'll post a photo here later if anyone is interested. Anyone else got some photos of the Phillip Island coastline they'd like to share?

Due to popular demand, I have attached an image I took on the western side of Phillip Island near Seal Rocks. Water was quite calm, being on the sheltered side of Phillip Island in Western Port bay. There were a few fisherman around the area. I was tempted to jump in and have a look around. I didn't see the White Shark that was spotted at Cowes (a couple of k's down the road) a week or so later :)

Image was taken on my Nokia 6280, so please bear with me :)

I do not have a camera of course :) It's only after seeing places like this that I realised I should get a camera :)

A good beach to wander along on Phillip Island is Smiths Beach, especially around the rocks at one end on low tide. Many interesting view points.
