Lens identification in EXIF?Someone at today's mini-meet told me that the lens identification is contained in the EXIF and is visible from Photoshop...
I have looked for it and cannot find it... Can anyone tell me if it is available and where it is... Having taken many photos with many different lenses today - it would be nice to be sure about which lens was which... Cheers, John

Nikon Capture also shows this (you may need to open the display by clicking the triangle to the left of the 'shooting data' heading)
If you have lost of pics you may want to consider Extensis Portfolio as it lets you search and filter so you can do things like "display all pictures taken with the 80-400VR lens". I use this and I'm pretty sure Andy (atencati) does too. Peter

OK... Thanks for the answers...
I don't have Photoshop CS (yet) and the lens info doesn't seem to be listed in the EXIF info in PS v7. Similarly I can't see it when using Opanda's IEXIF or Exifer... Nikon View does show it, so I now have what I need... Thanks... Cheers, John
