well, just had an hour long play with VR for the first time, and i gotta say i'm amazed.

i mean, usable shots at 1/8s handheld is just unheard of. i can't beleive how much i love this lens already. best money i've ever spent. and that's just praising VR, don't get me started on the sharpness or sweet sweet bokeh!

well done nikon, nice one...

Glad you like it, that lens is really a gem. Only downside is it only leaves one choice of who to blame if the image is no good :wink:

Where are the samples :) They are a great lens, can't wait for mine!

Glad to see you having a great play with it already! Lets see how long it stays on the camera!

yeah, if you can't get a good pic with this lens then maybe knitting should be taken up.

it won't be leaving my camera for a while! but thats what i said with my 12-24..

i'll chuck up some samples after saturday, when i get to test it out at the drags on some TF dragsters :)

can't wait.
