Freelance rates...

Postby Escapism on Tue Feb 13, 2007 9:32 am

Hi all,

Quick question. I have just landed a 12 month contract supplying a leading Australian publication with an article a month consisting of 1200 words and around 15 images.

What sort of price would you charge for this service?

Just thought I would add that whilst I dont wish to say how much I am getting, I believe it to be very good money for the work involved (approx. 2 full days worth of work)...I am simply asking as I have friends who are at odds over whether Im being under or over paid.

Cheers

If you are happy with the pay, then that's all that matters.

Congratulations on getting the job.

Most of my associates for a day rate charge $1000.00 for say a one of client and maybe $800.00 per day for a regular and yes we are talking about photographers :-)
