Nikon have got it right!!

I have never been a great fan of Nikon software but I have to admit that NX 1.1 (on Mac) is fast and furious - an amazing program that lifts Nikon into the spotlight.

The following pic (not a good one) was processed through NX 1.1 and then converted to sRGB and resized in CS3.

Sounds like I'll have to revisit Nikon Capture - the previous versions of NC 4 were a real dog on a Mac, which I put down to nothing more than just awful code optimisation in NC.

Aside, thats a great image - it's popping out of the background!
At an educated guess, that's from the D2hs - it's got some signature D2H colour/noise rendering happening :D (a good thing!)

Does anyone know if Nikon fixed up the very tedious and frustrating workflow with NX?

I remember when I trialed NX, the 'save-as' does not seem to save the last destination and setting, have to do them manually and that sucked big time.

Then the multi-image browser is not as effective as was in NC4.4 as I get to browse through things quickly and do my work quickly.

If they haven't fixed that up, I'll simply stick to NC4.4 for the sake of my own taste.

Great shot too - I have no idea what cancer looks like but this could be a microscopic cancer cell growing!
