Kris, What paper are you using???
I assume you are using Canon not generic ink carts. canon inks and canon papers will give the best chance of a good print on a canon printer. What program are you printing from? Cheers MATT
Sounds a lot like either head cleaning or paper type hasn't been configured.

Hi Guys
Genuine canon paper (PRO series) and genuine canon cartridges. How can I clean the head? Im using PS CS2 to print, apparently there are some known issues with banding and software other than the canon supplied stuff.. Thanks 5D | 16-35L | 35L | 85L | 135L | 70-200F2.8IS | 580EX

You can use CS2 to print, but make sure you go into your print settings and set the paper type up as to how the little note with the paper says to.
That'll be the case for any piece of software, mind you, as the settings you have to modify are a driver setting. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au
