It seems to have a very unique quality the fisheye lens, your capture of Budhha under the tree and the statue of the apparently angry man really utilise that well.

He was unhappy cos I was few inches in front of his face, my 10.5Dx pointed straight to him and he want me to go away

Great pics Birddog...

That looks like a great place for a photo shoot... Is it open to the public?
Cheers, John

Yes, it's, if members wish to, I can oragnize and arrange a workshop with free vege lunch there. Lot of subjects to shoot and they have a big room can accomodate at least 100 people for photography discussion or other topic. It's at Wetherill Park.

Interesting lens. File 6 really impresses me. I'm wondering how different this shot would have looked with a 'normal' lens since it appears less distorted than some of the others.

Thanks, Birddog

I looked at these shots and immediately felt the atmosphere of the temple. I particularly like the second and fifth shots.

Thanks for the good vibes.

That is an awesome lens! Birddog, I believe you've just demonstrated the versatility of this lens in the variety image types in that gallery... this lens is not strictly a limited use fisheye! It can be pressed into service as a unique perspective macro lens, a wide prime for landscape (with Capture's rectillinear correction), and a novelty portrait lens (see Neeper's avatar ;))

What is more impressive than the pics, and the location, is that you have managed to get out and spend some quality 'bird-dog' time :)

Well done mate, I too love #19 - he really isn't very impressed!

Actually, I was there yesterday to shoot an event for the Viet's community.
I arrived 2 hours earlier (am always arrived few hours in advance, test my gears, check lighting condition etc...) and spent my time around the location, tried to play around with the 10.5Dx lens, the overcast and patchy rain yeterday was great opportunity to try the 10.5Dx. They allocated for me a small area in the Audio, Video and Multimedia Center as my workshop same as temporary storage my gears.

I'll go back there on Tuesday 8 Feb. for shooting the Chinese NYE with dragon dance and fireworks at midnight.
