Yankee Bastards on ebaywhat is it with the fn USA stores on ebay, with the "we dont know where the rest of the world ends" sales policy?
I'm hunting for a used D2h and a Minolta meter, and some local stores have them, but they are slim pickings. Lots of stores in ebay have them, but they REFUSE to sell outside the USA. Like Australia is less trustworthy than the US. I expect its becuase they have been scared off by a few international sales where the yankee law cant reach out. F%^k sake, I have solid feedback, I buy camera gear, and they still refuse. I've lived in the US for a long time, they are soo inward. Thanks for letting me vent, shits me to tears!
No different from my ebay sales - I will only sell to Australia mainly because of my distrust of overseas buyers
EDIT: Cameta will sell to Australia Chris

Tried KEH?
Looks like they have some used D2H/D2Hs here The help section says they do ship internationally for used bodies. Everything I've ever read about KEH says their rating on gear is spot on or even conservative.
thanks, I think I was getting too focused on ebay.
adorama, cameta, calumet, keh, bhphoto are all pretty goo options for me
HKSupplies sells Sekonic meters, in case you want a Sekonic over a Minolta.

thanks, I really like the Minolta Flash Meter V. The VI is available from melbourne's camera exchange, but its $850... I dont know if a sekonic has an auditble beep when it has "received" the flash in "non-corded" mode (not talking about radio mode). If anyone has a sekonic 558, or 858, can they confirm? (I cant find it in the tech specs anywhere). Love to have the audible beep, so I can hear it when outdoors / bright sunlight.
I'm seeing the TA from Uni on Monday, Damo, and we used Sekonics at Uni so I'll ask him when I see him.

THanks heaps (oh, and I meant the 558 or 758, 858 was a typo) cheers
thanks for the clear feedback, I appreciate it!
I sold photography gear several times. Once to a guy in London and once to someone in Singapore and someone in the USA. The first two I found on flickr I think, and the last one was through eBay. Did not have any problems. I usually sell to and buy from the USA, Canada, UK, NZ, EU, Japan, HK, Singapore, and Australia to those who have positive feedbacks 5+. You can actually set this in options when selling.
