got my D70 today

Postby darb on Fri Oct 01, 2004 1:06 am

my 300D was stolen last week. Just got my insurance replacement (which this time iwll be kept at my office behind bulletproof glass !!)

what can i say, I am in love.

I had reservations about noise. What noise.

so fast, so nice. The ONLY thing im finding is the diopter only goes to 0.5+ , but my eyes are to blame, not the camera !

i think i somewhat want to thank the thiefs who burgled my house.

Also placed an order today for Nikkor 60mm F2.8 Micro / Macro.

Shoudl go well.

ANyways, must run, shooting test pics in RAW so i can change things like saturation, sharpening etc and really know what custom settings i want for when i do shoot JPEG.

Click, MHD, thankyou.

Wow that was fast darb - just a day ago you were considering this versus the new 20D. Welcome to uninhibited photographic freedom. You must try out "AI Servo" equivalent (AF-C focus) while NOT in sports mode while you still remember how that 300D behaves... ;)
