P&S ASA8000?

Postby PiroStitch on Fri Mar 30, 2007 3:07 pm

Exqueeze me? Apparently Kodak has announced a new p&s with the ability to go up to ASA8000? Would like to see what sort of image quality it pulls out.

Perhaps something like this ??
(I'm just guessing)

Reading the fine print.
* ISO 6400 and 8000 available at 2.2 MP, 2.1 MP, and 1.2 MP setting in P/M mode.

So you sacrafice the pixels to get the higher noise, perhaps some averaging algorithm/transform.
