Introducing Trekabout Photography Workshops

Postby Slider on Mon Apr 16, 2007 9:29 pm

Howdy Folks,

I'd like to introduce a new venture that Michael (Finch) and I have been working on daily for the past couple of months. Introducing "Trekabout Photography Workshops", a joint partnership between Michael and myself.

We would appreciate any comments and feedback

Looks great Mark,

I had a browse through the site. Overall, my feelings for the site is that it look really nice. A few points:

-Your Beach to Mountain Workshop and Bookings and Payments format different then the other pages. They don't indent like the others.

-on the Mountain Workshop, you have a green box with Michael's experience, that overlaps "Things you need to bring". It thing that's what it says.

-once you are going, a testimonials section would be nice. I tend to read these when I look for workshops.

-I checked the site out on a Mac OSX using safari and firefox 2.

As I said, the site looks really nice, some great photos. Good luck guys, I'll be looking for you if I make it up to Brisvegas soon.

Cheers,

André

Thanks for the comments guys. I think there may be a little work to do yet getting the format right for Firefox as we did most of the checking in IE. Appreciate the feedback. :D

Thanks Steve and YiP

It'll work, we'll make sure of it :D

No problem out in the wild, YiP. Been working, living (5 years surrounded by rainforest) and photographing out there for years!

Hi Mark,

On the home page the upper left picture encroaches on the '16 June 2007' link below it (Safari Mac OS X).

Overall looks great though!

All the best in this venture...

Guys good luck on your workshops, it looks like a great experience for the participants and a nice way to make an income for you. One thing I personally found unusual, and others may not, is the size of the images on your site. I know your quality is great, but if I didn't I would be wondering why they are small.
