CS3 kills NEF thumbnails

Postby stubbsy on Sat Apr 28, 2007 12:34 pm

I have just installed CS3 Web Premium and as a great side effect of this all NEF thumbnail previews have vanished in standard File Open dialogs (they show in Bridge though). It's a known "feature" of CS2 and CS3. Fortunately I've fixed this before (and now need to do it again thanks to Adobe) so I knew what to do.

For those with similar problems you need only install a Nikon patch from HERE. Figured this may help some people.

Thanks! I remember this now but when I installed CS3 the same thing happened to me but I didn't link the two. Very handy!

Steve, try installing Capture NX. I found the patch didn't fix my thumbnail problem in CS2.
