Lens Borrowing - 12-24mm~

Postby Laurie on Tue May 15, 2007 12:06 pm

Hi Guys,

I am off to the east coast of America on Friday (leaving home around 1115), and the 12-24mm Nikon that I have ordered hasn't arrived yet. I ordered it through Poon as well as a SC-29 Sync Cable. Apparently the Sync Cables are no longer in stock or perhaps production.

I am in American for 3 Weeks:
Leaving Friday the 18th of May at 1430
Returning, hopefully, Sunday the 10th of June at 0725.

If anyone around the Rockdale, Mortdale, Kogarah area would be kind enough to lone me a wide angle lens for this time it would be greatly appreciated. If the borrowed lens is damaged, lost or stolen (I have Travellers insurance) I am more than willing to replace with my new 12-24mm as it may arrive after I have left.

note: this is only a contingency plan, if my lens isn't delivered
Cheers

That was lucky timing, thank god for your motherin-law! You should have alot of fun with that thing. It is bloody great. I used one for a few weeks in London. Didn't take the damn thing off!
Have fun in the states
Nikon D80, MB-D80, Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8, SB-800, Sigma 18-200 f/3.5-6.3
Various bits of borrowed/stolen glass/speedlights etc. - zero style or taste.
