Browsing the web and found some of MY photos publishedG'day
A few days ago, when unable to get anything other than server errors from this site, I spent half an hour Googling and surfing. Feeling somewhat nostalgic, I looked up Georgie Fame in Wikipedia and from there I followed the link to the external Georgie Fame website On the page for concert photo's I was somewhat surprised to see five of MY photos. I took the photos during a concert in Sevenoaks, UK while there in Jan 2002. Of the photos on that page, I, of course, think that my photos are the best ones there. An ego boost by somone else confirming that, would be nice Now in some ways it's nice to see my photos on the web with credit given but it would have been nice to know they were there and of course I'm curious how the pics got there in the first place. I vaguely recall a few years ago sending some Georgie Fame photos to someone who was in one of the Van Morrison discussion groups but I thought they were for his personal use. I don't think I've got the originals anywhere anymore - they are not on my current hard drive. If I write to the site asking them to change the copyright to include my email addy or web address - how do I assure them that I am the Bob Johnson that took the photos? Cheers Bob in Bull Creek

Confirmed. Easily the best. I have no experience in these things, but it might be hard without the originals or the emails you sent or even some similar shots from the same event. I guess the pix have been acknowledged; I'm just not sure how you demonstrate that they are yours. Good luck anyway. And I'm a Georgie Fame fan too. TFF (Trevor)

The guy who set up the website might be the same person you emailed the photos to. You also might be able to google the original thread in the discussion group if you're lucky.
...and yes ...yours are the best photos.
